Rat clan ring selection

An old ring selection screen.

Rings are special items that grant heroes bonus stats or additional abilities, and are selected by the player before the start of the game, along with amulets. Each clan has a selection of four different rings that are uniquely tailored to their clan's playstyle. Only one ring can be chosen at the start of the game.

Ring types[]

Bear Clan[]

Bear Clan rings grant its heroes benefits while on Forest or Stone circle tiles, or additional bonuses for playing Spell cards.

BearRing4 Amber In Battle, Burning Sun and Moon Cards in Battle is always a Hit, first one Explodes. Win 5 games for the Bear Clan
Aquamarine Ring Aquamarine In Battles and Perils at Night, +1 Moon. The Usurper DLC
Spinel Ring Taaffeite +1 Shield and +1 Spirit in Forests. The Rivals DLC


Rabbit Clan[]

Rabbit Clan rings grant its heroes benefits while on Plains tiles, or provide additional Gold or Prestige.

Pink Topaz Pink Topaz Doubles Gold gained from settlements. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Amber.
Diamond Diamond +1 Prestige per Equipped Treasure and Recruited Follower. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Barnaby.
Sunstone Sunstone In Battle and Perils at day, +1 Sun. Win 5 games for the Rabbit Clan.
Rainbow Quartz Ring Rainbow Quartz +1 Magic and +1 Gold every Dawn. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Elyssia (from The Usurper DLC).
Taaffeite Ring Spinel Get a 20% bonus in all Quests. Reach Mastery Level 2 with Hargrave (from The Rivals DLC).


Rat Clan[]

Rat Clan rings grant its heroes benefits on claimed Settlement tiles, or aid them in combat.

Ruby Ruby First rolled Sword in Battle Explodes. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Zosha
Turquoise Turquoise Gain Evade and +2 Explode Pool. Win 5 games for the Rat Clan
Tanzanite Tanzanite +1 Gold when you escape a Peril. The Usurpers DLC
Cats Eye Ring Cat's Eye Get a 1 Gold discount on the first Trickery Card played each turn. The Rivals DLC

Wolf Clan[]

Wolf Clan rings grant its heroes benefits on Mountain tiles, or additional Magic or Gold after kills.

Celestite Celestite Ignore Mountain movement penalty. Win 5 games for the Wolf Clan
Rubellite Rubellite +3 Fight while you have 3 or less Health. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Magna (Usurpers DLC)
Chrysocolla Chrysocolla Grants Scout on, and +1 Sword in combat against Heroes with 3 Health or less. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Fang (Rivals DLC)

Bandit Clan[]

Bandit Clan rings grant its heroes benefits from all four clans. Heroes are given a bonus on Mountains from the Wolf Clan, card Burning benefits from the Bear Clan, complimentary gold from the Rabbit Clan, and Settlement Stealth from the Rat Clan.

Serendibite Ring Serendibite Gain +1 Prestige and +1 Gold for each King's Guard killed.

Note: You still lose 1 Prestige for killing a King's Guard, this ring simply negates losing Prestige from it.

Pink Topaz Pink Topaz Doubles income gained from Settlements. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Twiss
Amethyst Amethyst +1 Magic for every Spell Card Burned, +2 for each Rot Spell Card Burned. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Horace
Celestite Celestite Ignore Mountain movement penalty. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Sylas

Dragon Clan[]

SulfurRing Sulfur Negates Swamp Damage. Default
BasaltRing Basalt On Dungeons, gain Stealth and first rolled Sword in Battles is Poisoned. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Volodar.
AxiniteRing Axinite On Creature Kill in combat, gain +1 Die in Battles and Perils until the end of your next Turn. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Agniya.
CinnabarRing Cinnabar On the loss of any Prestige, add a random 1 Magic Cost Spell Card to your Hand. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Oxana.
TremoliteRing Tremolite +1 Rot. Ending your turn next to a creature makes them gain +1 Rot until the end of their next turn. Reach Hero Mastery Level 2 with Nazar.
SerpentineRing Serpentine On Quest completion, -1 Rot. Gain +3 Magic if Rot is deducted this way. Win 5 games for the Dragon Clan.
